The PPL Repertoire Database holds information on all the recordings that are managed by PPL. The data includes where the music was recorded, who owns the rights to the recording and who has performed on it – accurate data means accurate payments.
What can I use the database for?
To ensure accurate payments, members can upload details of new recordings and make changes to existing recordings. It is the responsibility of the rights holder to add details of all the performers on the recording to the database to help ensure they also receive their royalties.
We will contact you through your online myPPL account if the information you have entered into the database is incorrect or incomplete, as this can affect your payments. Remember to regularly check myPPL to see if your recordings have been accepted.
