PPL starts to collect royalties on your behalf once you have become a member and added the details of your recorded music to our database.
We can collect royalties for various uses of recorded music including where it has been:
- played in public
- broadcast on a radio or TV programme

How do I get started?
You can register for PPL membership via the online myPPL system. As part of the process you will be able to request an International Standard Recording Code and add the details of your recorded music tracks to the PPL Repertoire Database. It is your responsibility to add details of any performers on the recording to help ensure they also receive the royalties due to them.
